This pie should stay refrigerated and should not be heated. The peppermints are made with an all natural dye made from beets so after a day or two the color begins to bleed. It'll still taste great but begin to change in appearance. Keep sealed until ready to serve. For prolonged life, pie can be stored frozen for up to 3 weeks. We recommend wrapping tightly in plastic wrap to preserve freshness.
